My own Christmas Cards

Trying to get ahead of the game and get some batches of Christmas cards made ready for me to send.
I've made variations on this design using different blue coloured distress inks to create the background. I've then silver embossed a tree stamp. I used one from a Chocolate Baroque set and also a Penny Black stamp. I added a metal star to the tops of the trees and added some white glitter card at the bottom for the snowy landscape. I've then scattered some white Frantage embossing powder over the surface to make snow. Really pleased with these - clean and simple.
This one is another distress ink background. I've used yellows, oranges and reds but then covered most of it with Black Soot Distress ink just leaving a glowing area at the bottom. I've then stamped the nativity scene - I think this one is by Little Claire. I've added some text using a set by Altenew and used a versamark pen to do some dots to act as more stars. It's then all been embossed in gold. These will be ideal for my Christian friends and those at church.

September Workshop

I had hoped to get this blog up and running with examples of cards from all the workshops I was going to run.....unfortunately, the November workshop (which actually ended up happening in December) was the last one till now! I'm just about to run another one and hopefully will do one every 6 to 8 weeks. This one is going to be on distress ink techniques. I hope to have time to do quite a few different cards with the attendees and so I'm showing a selection of the cards we hope to make. See my website for more details if you are in the area and would like to attend.
